Volunteering with STARS PTO provides numerous benefits, including...

NO. While we’d love your support, joining PTO doesn’t mean you’re committing to volunteer. But: Volunteering is a great way to support our school community and make a positive impact. Many of our volunteers balance full-time jobs and various other obligations. 

The minimum age requirement for volunteering with STARS PTO is 18 years old, but we also offer opportunities for younger volunteers to get involved with our youth programmes.

As a PTO member, you can attend our general meetings. We also have multiple open “Boss” and committee positions as well as plenty of volunteer opportunities at our events throughout the year. So, whether you have 1 hour a year or 1 hour a week – we have a spot for you.

Please make checks for the PTO payable to STARS PTO.

School fees for the school year 2024/2025 are $10.

If your child's teacher uses Class Dojo or the Remind App, you can contact them there. Or you can reach them by email.

Teachers and staff email addresses are usually first initial + last name @starscharter.org.

E.g. Mary Miller would be mmiller@starscharter.org.

There are a few exceptions, but that's how you can contact most teachers.

In general, elementary teachers use Class Dojo, middle school teachers use the Remind App. A few grades choose to use email only.
